Transfer Student Process
Thank you for considering our coach training program. We are honored that you are considering transferring into our ICF (International Coach Federation) accredited coach training program. Many coaches and students are transferring into our program to pursue their coaching credential: ACC, PCC or MCC.
The first step in transferring to one of our coach training programs is the submission of our Transfer Student Application and payment of the Transfer Fee. In addition to the application, the scenarios listed below will provide you with helpful guidelines for additional information to submit along with your Transfer Student Application.

Three Typical Transfer Scenarios:
1. You already have an ACC from the International Coach Federation (ICF) and want to pursue your PCC:
- Please provide a copy of your ACC Certificate along with your Transfer Application.
2. You have completed ICF-accredited coach training and need additional accredited coach training hours to apply for the ACC or PCC ICF Coaching Credential. In addition to your Transfer Application, please forward the following:
- A copy of your transcripts or certificates, listing the courses you have successfully completed, the number of hours, a brief course description or catalog.
- If you have received mentor-coaching from an approved ICF mentor-coach, please include documentation from your mentor-coach noting the total number of hours of mentor-coaching. In addition, we also request a written performance rating of your coaching by your mentor-coach. (A recording of one of your coaching sessions would be helpful. Please use the following link to access a client release form to give permission to share your recording with us: Client Release Form)
- Please note that we also need verification that your previous coach training is accredited by the ICF. This would include the following logos on the certificates or diplomas: ACSTH or ACTP.
3. You have completed coach training that is not accredited by the ICF and need additional accredited coach training hours to apply for your ICF Coaching Credential. In addition to your Transfer Application, please forward the following:
- Please Note: While the ICF is the largest global organization that credentials coaches, we recognize that there are many other organizations which also credential coaches. In an attempt to recognize the global nature and diversity of coaching, while also adhering to the highest of coaching standards, we review – and in many cases accept – accredited coach training from other non-ICF credentialing organizations. This is done on a case-by-case basis. Along with your Transfer Student Application, please forward to us that information that will help us understand and discern your previous training.
- A copy of your transcripts or certificates listing the courses you have successfully completed, the total number of training hours, the instructors’ names and coaching credentials, and a brief course description or catalog.
- If you have received mentor-coaching supervision, please include documentation from your mentor-coach noting the total number of hours of mentor-coaching. In addition, we also request a written performance rating of your coaching by your mentor-coach. (A recording of one of your coaching sessions would be helpful.
